Corey Haim had just started dating 27-year-old Daisy de la Hoya, the star of VH1 reality show Daisy of Love, before he died. De la Hoya was very devastated by Haim’s death.
The romance between the two was very new. “Daisy loved The Lost Boys, and she always had a crush on Corey,” a source close to De la Hoya tells us. “Their first official date was two weeks ago, but they’d been hanging out a little while before that. Corey invited her to the Playboy Mansion. Corey Feldman came, too.”
De la Hoya apparently wanted to help Haim with his struggles. “Daisy knew Corey was doing a lot of drugs—especially prescription meds,” our source says. “She thought he was kind and talented, and she wanted to rescue him. She became his confidant over the last few weeks. He told her a lot.”
Although their relationship was new, De la Hoya was already excited about where things could lead. “They weren’t in an exclusive relationship, but they were having a lot of fun getting to know each other and seeing what would happen,” our source says. “Corey told Daisy she is a beautiful person with a beautiful heart.”
De la Hoya was very upset when she heard the news about Haim’s tragic death. De la Hoya tweeted, “Why do I always fall for the lost soul? We could of been lost together, now your lost forever…. Ill miss you.”

Bryson Bryant, the son of Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, has been arrested. Bryant was arrested Sunday in Lawrenceville, Georgia on drug charges and failure to appear in court. He was released Wednesday.
“My head is up & held high this morning because I KNOW the parent that i’am! U hate 4 yo kids 2 make mistakes! TOUGH LOVE this morning,” Leakes wrote on Twitter Wednesday.

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes have teamed up with Iconix Brand Group to design a line of junior clothing and accessories for Macy’s. The collection is called Material Girl and will be part of Madonna’s own label, MG Icon.
“Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me,” says Madonna.
Material Girl will include apparel, footwear, handbags and jewelry with a price range of $12 to $40. The collection launches in August 2010.
