Poster: The Box

Looks like Cameron Diaz is starting to get back into gear. She took some time off earlier this year following the death of her father, but she has had one movie released last month, My Sister’s Keeper, and she has yet another set for release in October. The Box is set to hit theaters on October 30. Yes, this makes it just in time for Halloween.

The movie follows the story of a couple that receive a very special box. If they happen to press the button, they receive $1 million dollars. Sounds easy enough right? Well, it isn’t. The pressing of the button will end the life of someone else. Someone they do not know. The movie co-stars James Marsden.

A poster was released earlier this week by the director of the movie Richard Kelly. He decided to go the Twitter route for its release. Check it out below. What do you think?

Now that Harry Potter has finally made his way to the big screen with Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Word has it that Potter has managed to beat the midnight showings record set by The Dark Knight just one year ago with its release. However, now all the teens and tweens and others that follow the genre have New Moon to look forward to when its released in November.Entertainment Tonight has released three new photo stills from the movie set for a November 20th release date. Twilight fans are probably ready and waiting for it. The next in the Twilight series is all ready to begin filming soon. They really aren’t waiting long between movies for this series, but that might be what will keep the fans happy.

Pattinson has been busy filming a non-Twilight project in New York with Emilie de Ravin, and Stewart has been doing the same herself. Check out the pictures from New Moon below. What do you think?

Lifestyl- Lift Fined $300,000 For Posting False Internet Reviews

According to an article by ABC News, the Lifestyl- Lift Company has been fined $300,000 by the New York Attorney General for posting false reviews of their facelift procedures on message boards online. According to the article:

Cuomo’s investigation revealed internal emails in which employees were encouraged by company executives to take spare time during the day to write the reviews and post to message boards. “Put your wig and skirt on and tell them about the great experience you had,” read one.
In some cases, the employees also created entire websites that claimed to independently review the company’s procedures in order to mislead consumers. Cuomo’s case was based on New York and Federal statutes designed to protect consumers. His office claimed that astroturfing constituted “deceptive commercial practices, false advertising, and fraudulent and illegal conduct,” according to the statement released Tuesday.
